Ashes, Roses and Broken Hearts

We love imperfectly and that sometimes breaks God's heart.  We wear ashes as a reminder that we are flawed. However, God loves perfectly and loves us so much that God is willing to redeem us in our imperfections.  That is why the ashes are in the form of a cross.  (Ash Wednesday 2018)
